Hi I`m Madeleine, Fashion designer & mother of my 2 beautiful kids.

I have my own small Atelier where I love to work daily & develop my clients wish. To me it is the most important to have a fair and sustainable production and to always keep my clients up to date on the development of their orders.

With my brand Mado go lucky, it is important to me to create high-quality and unique products which shall bring joy. For many of my products I use handwoven fabrics made in my mothers Weaving Atelier in Luxembourg. For all used fabrics and trims, I make sure to use good quality only. I am also using more and more certified fabrics to guarantee “clean” products. Mado go lucky is basically a ONE woMAN SHOW as all is done by me, sourcing, production, social media, shipping,… Sustainability is an improtant topic to me, this is why I prefer buying local and seasonal. I only order fabrics per order to avoid unnessecary goods in stock and protect resources.

The wish to establish my own brand was born already years ago, but founded in 2016.

My recipe to happiness:

being creative, working with my hands and being able to spend a lot of time outside in the nature

Already as a young girl, I have always been in touch with all kind of different crafts as my mother is a passionate knitter, weaver and sewer. That way I have always had the luck to wear unique and handmade pieces. This enthusiasm has taken me at an early age as well. I love handmade, no matter if as food, clothes, furniture … which made it clear to me which direction to take. Some apprenticeships in clothing and fashion, some working experiences and some stops in different towns and cities later, brought me here, home. I might sometimes be uncertain if I am still on the right track, or feel like taking little details, but I am always determined and focused.

What is important to me, is my “little” family, my longtime friends & family. If you ask me, this is the base to everything.

More about me:

I grew up as the youngest of four girls in a little town in Luxembourg. I have lived in Germany for a while now, but I always like to go back home to my family to enjoy the international flair in Luxembourg and to spend the time with my lovely little nieces and nephews. They always inspire me to come up with new ideas and it’s also them who brought me back to crafting. I am a mother of two for a few years now and enjoy every moment of it even if it is tough at times handling it all by yourself as a little family.
